He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Wagner and Ruth Wagner; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Scott (Julie), Brian (Kris) and Jaci Suchomel (Scott); his grandchildren, Tyler, Samantha Wagner, Brett, Brady, Kayla Wagner, J. P., Brynn, Gracie and Carly Suchomel; and his siblings, Joyce Gmeinder (Don), Janet Gambrell (Jack) and Roger Wagner.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Sacred Hearts School Capital Campaign, Womens Care center Shelter from the Storm or American Family Childrens Hospital Cancer Research.
