With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mercedes Moellenberndt (Sun Prairie, Wisconsin), born in Elizabeth, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2019 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Berlage and Mary Berlage (Huilman); and her sisters, Bernice Berlage and Marcella Ortscheid. She is survived by: her husband Wallace; her children, Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt of Sun Prairie, Jim Moellenberndt (Martha) of Grand Island, NE and Mary Lange of Knoxville, TN; her grandchildren, Alison Arrants (Chris) of Rock Springs, WY, Meg Trout (Bob) of Grand Island, NE and Jennifer Lange of Knoxville, TN; and her great grandchildren, Josie, James and Luca. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Sacred Hearts School Capital Campaign.
