It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Magdalen Maggie Birrenkott (Sun Prairie, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 22, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Barman and Helen Barman (Laufenberg); her siblings, Jerome Barman and Laura Haag; and her brothers-in-law, Cyril Haag and David Pertzborn.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Czesnakowicz of Orlando, FL, Daniel Birrenkott (Connie) of Lodi, Joyce Hastings (Paul Heidemann) of Cottage Grove, Joann (Bradley) of Coon Rapids, MN, Jean Mohr of Sun Prairie, Linda Damm (Steven) of Columbus and Karen (Timothy Gundeck) of Monona; her grandchildren, Anna Czesnakowicz, Jennifer Aslesen (Andrew), Travis Romens (Teri), John Romens, Aaron Hastings, Seth Hastings, Emilie Semmerling (Michael), Ethan Barquest, Elliot Barquest, Calvin Mohr, Weston Mohr (Natasha), Garrett Mohr, Jacob Damm (Michelle) and Danielle Damm; her great grandchildren, Cali, Talia Aslesen, Cody, Reese, Talon Romens and Savannah Mohr; her brother George Barman (Jakey Giddens) of Arizona; her siblings-in-law, Ruth Pertzborn of Cottage Grove, Robert Birrenkott (Rochelle) of Ridgeway and Lois Barman of Sun Prairie; and her uncle George.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or to the family for a memorial project to brighten the lives of other dementia victims.
