He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy and Florence Dixson (Aldrin). He is survived by: his wife Carmel DiAquila; his children, Mark Dixson (Debbie) of Navarre, FL and Ann Marie Hornes (Crawford) of Sun Prairie; his grandchildren, Tony, Amanda, Danielle, Nicki and Jenny; and his stepgranddaughters, Sharon and Angela. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Albert the Great Catholic Church.
