He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou (Renner); his parents, Elise Schneiter and Fred Schneiter; and his siblings, Helen Bahler, Lucy Schneiter, Elsie Crouch, Mary Franklin and Fred Schneiter.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Schneiter (Kris), Ann Hutchison (Craig) and Jane Velazquez (Ralph); his sisters-in-law, Carole A. Hostetler and Eileen Schneiter; his grandchildren, Blake Hutchison (Karen), Alan Hutchison, Lindsay Loewe (David), Blythe Watson (Greg), Kelly Fegley (Ryan), Jamie Beran (David), Dr. Eric Velazquez and Abby Velazquez; and his great grandchildren, Wesley, Harrison Loewe, John, Grant Hutchison, William, Bruce Watson, Thea, Rae Fegley and Harvest Beran.
