He was predeceased by: his father Maurice Pierce; his grandson Dustin Quamme; and his siblings-in-law, Leon, Leo Schwanz, Leora Steinke and Maryanne Schara.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Schwanz; his children, Kelly Knuppel (Dan Quamme), Boyd Pierce (Judy) and Blair Pierce (Deb); his grandchildren, Aaron Knuppel (Tara), Dylan Quamme (Paula White), Dain Quamme, Kayla (Ashley), Hayden, Marcus Pierce (Alex), Sarah Snow (Tony Miggins) and Mallory Birkrem; his great grandchildren, Blake, Bryce Knuppel, James Goll, Kenyon, Jaylen and Devyn Miggins; and his sister-in-law Lois Munns (Claire). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
