With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James F Lockwood of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 25, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Lockwood and Bernadette Lockwood (Meyer); his siblings, John Lockwood (Barb) and Kathy Harris (Ron); his niece Jackie Kovalaske; and his brother-in-law Robert Rickey.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Kimberly Lockwood (Tom), Kevin Lockwood (Joelle), Kristi List (Augie) and Kari Prohaska (Paul); his grandchildren, Beth (Steve), Amy, Kelsey Austin (Matt), Drew, Dalton, Blaise, Remington, Challis and Chase; his great grandchildren, Kohen, Oliver, Natti, Kennedy and Layla; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Rickey of Frank Rickey, JR, Marlene Van Dyke (Dutch) and Susie Niebuhr (Wayne).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home (302 Columbus St, Sun Prairie, WI 53590). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the UW Carbone Cancer Center or the American Heart Association.
