She was predeceased by: her parents, Clotilda Broome and Frederick Broome; and her siblings, Bernard Broome, Leon Broome and Rosemary Leek.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jane Risch (Victor), Fred Shelhamer (Betsy), Julie Duschack (David), Laurel Shelhamer and Frank Shelhamer (Julie); her grandchildren, Laura Vitale (Matt), Grant Risch (Katie), Marty Risch, Eric Volmrich (Brandy) and Brian (Shauna); her sister Marlene Bensch; and her sister-in-law Ruth Broome. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Unity Church (601 Tompkins Dr, Madison, WI 53716). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
