Ellen M. Bowen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen M. Bowen (Sun Prairie, Wisconsin), born in Mayville, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 1, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Schimelpfenig and Irene Schimelpfenig (Sullivan); her sister Vivian Schoniger (Ray); and her nephew Philip Zimbric. She is survived by: her husband Thomas B. Bowen; her daughters, Dr. Vana M. Bowen of Aurora and Constance Bailey (Rick) of Corbin, KY; her grandchildren, Abbey Nicole Barley (Deke) of New London, KY and Thomas Allen Bailey (Rebecca) of Corbin, KY.; her great grandchildren, Beaux Lewis Barley and Bailey Ann Barley; her sister Beatrice Zimbric of Watertown, WI; and her nieces and nephews, Cynthia Tlusty (Jerome) of Schofield, WI, Curt Zimbric (Sandy) of Centerville, Claude Zimbric of Watertown, WI, Paula Hanna (Steve) of Watertown and Patricia Zimbric of Franklin, KY.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
