In loving memory of Elizabeth Emmerich of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, who departed this world on November 22, 2024 at the age of 83. Elizabeth leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Steffen and Marie Steffen; her sister Judy (Robert Weisel); and her nieces, Liz Sockness (Pete) and Laurie Malone (Mike).
She is survived by: her husband Michael; her sister Barbara Klintman; her children, Jane Gobeli (Scott) and Jon Emmerich (Esther); her grandchildren, Will Gobeli, Molly Lucas (Woody), Ruben Emmerich and Ruby Koh; her great grandchildren, Eleanor, David and Judah Lucas; her nieces and nephews, Amy Rice (Dan), Carrie Hoppman (Jeff), Jim and Brad Endres (Loretta); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kristen Willert (Mitch), Samantha Sockness, John Hoppman and Bobby Malone. She is also survived by extended family members, treasured friends and dear neighbors.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (300 Broadway Dr, Sun Prairie, WI 53590). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:15 PM. A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:45 PM at the Wauwatosa Cemetery (2485 Wauwatosa Ave, Wauwatosa, WI 53213).
