With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward F Connolly in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, born in Dubuque, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Connolly and Marguerite Connolly (Skahill). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Wessel; his children, Ryan (Sarah) of Seattle, WA and Laura Bah (Abdoulie) of Sun Prairie; his grandchildren, Rhett, Amelia Connolly, Omar, Ousman and Gibriel Bah; and his brother Patrick Connolly (Anne) of Solon, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I first met Ed Connolly in the Iowa National Guard about 1967. Ed and myself and 3 others in the Guard become very very close personal friends. We were almost like brothers. We did a lot of things together and created many fond memories I still reflect on those times quite often. I also had the privilege of being at the wedding of Ed and Joyce in Colesberg Iowa Ed you and your family are in my prayers . May your soul rest in peace.”
