He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Waddell and Florence Waddell (Deppe); his grandchildren, Brandon Waddell and Dana Waddell; his siblings, Eleanor and Ted; and his sister-in-law Arlene.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Hermann; his children, Connie Hacker (Paul), David Waddell (Sally), John Waddell (Karen), Kathy Evert (Roger) and Shelly Compton (Craig); and his grandchildren, Anna Goswick (Tyler), Amy Walsh (James), Katie, Gloria Hacker, Danielle Burnham (Jim), Michael Waddell (Karissa), Melinda Waddell (Joe Rule), Madeline Waddell (Alyssa Tillich), Erica Klingfus (Tyler), Jessica, Garret Evert, Tanner and Coltan Compton. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
