He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Smith and Lillian Smith; and his siblings, Dick, Bob, Paul and Patricia Wolf.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Clark; his sisters, Lois Goetz and Carol Anderson; his children, Darrell Smith (Christine), Dennis Smith (Katie), Cheryl Riege (Jerry), Michele Weber (Matt) and Craig Smith (Julie); his grandchildren, Bryan, Trevor, Michael, Julie, Ryan, Madeline, Alexandra, Sam, Jacqueline, Gabriel Smith, Sara and Dillon Weber; and his great grandchildren, Heath, Hayden, Oakley, Huxson, Embree Smith and Reiman Erskin. He is also survived by 5 children, 12 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date yet to be determined.
