She was predeceased by: her parents, Arne Lerwick and Hazel Lerwick (Showers); her husband John A. Durtschi; her sister Margaret Lawler (Lerwick); her brother-in-law Keith Lawler; her parents-in-law, John and Ida Durtschi; and her brothers, Walter (Marion Durtschi), Ralph (Betty Durtschi), Milford (Eleanore Thousand), IllaBelle (Pete Riemenapp) and Lyle Shutvet.
She is survived by: her children, John (Sue) of Eau Claire, Jeff of Las Vegas, Janis Mintzlaff (Jeff) of Madison, James of Madison and Joan (David Freedel) of Ocean Shores, WA; her brother Richard Lerwick (Sue); her grandchildren, Shayna Smith (Chad), Leah (Christal Swigart), Brandon Durtschi, Andrea Polenz (Chuck) and Karl Peterson; and her great grandchildren, Trevor, Colin, Olivia Smith, Carter and Julia Polenz.
