She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Haberman and Frieda Haberman (Breunig); her spouse Robert Smith; her siblings, Irene Schmitt, Arlene Woldt and Melvin Haberman; and her son-in-law Jay Emanuel.

She is survived by: her children, Robert (Carol), Douglas (Mary) and Denise Emanuel; her granddaughter Heather Nagel (Eddie); and her stepgrandson Joseph Pettit. She is also survived by 5 step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
