He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave Schlender and Frieda Schlender; his daughter Leesa; his parents-in-law, McDonald and Lucy Pennow; and his siblings, Virginia, Esther, Arnold and Alfred.

He is survived by: his sons, Bryan (Elizabeth) and Matt (Cindy); his wife Donna; his daughter Jodi Dabrowski (Stan); his grandchildren, Jacob Schlender (Cassie Meeks), Courtney Schlender (Emir Tavsan), Annabelle and Georgia Schlender; his great grandchild Ari; and his siblings, Daniel Schlender (Janet), G. Paul Schlender, Mitzi Frank (Al), Pauline Stephen (Barry) and Harold Schlender (late Joyce).

Memorials in Ron's name to either: Lutherdale Bible Camp Elkhorn, ShoreHaven, Our Savoir Lutheran Church Oconomowoc or Oconomowoc Area Foundation are appreciated.

He may have been taken away from you physically, but he will be alive forever in your loving memories of him. Know that your friends are thinking about & praying for you during this most difficult time in your lives. We pray that God will bless you & be with you as you all grieve.
