He was predeceased by: his father Ronald. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Kahling Czupek; his mother Mary Lou; his children, Kahley and Jakob; his siblings, Jennifer Lynn (Patrick Franchi) and Brian; his parents-in-law, Arlene Kahling and Jack Kahling; and his brother-in-law John Kahling (Kelly). He is also survived by three nieces and a nephew.
He asked specifically that any memorial tributes in his name be made to the Sugar Camp Safety Committee, a local organization who provides support to community members in need.
