With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Jean Kliss of Sugar Camp, Wisconsin, born in Nekoosa, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 20, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Kuhnke and Helen Kuhnke; her brother-in-law Conrad Chaffee; and her parents-in-law, William and Ruth Kliss.
She is survived by: her husband William Kliss; her children, Sonya Schaefer (Mark), William "Billy" Kliss, Danyel Brooker (Brad) and Haley Vander Wielen (Scott); her grandchildren, Paul, Kyle Schaefer, Lennex, Larkin, Oden Brooker, Haven Witham, Brynley and Wyatt Vander Wielen; and her siblings, Donald Kuhnke (Shirley), Greg Kuhnke (Donna), Carol Chaffee, Marilyn Sorensen and Stacy Hughes (David). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
