He is survived by: his significant other Barb; his children, Melissa Konitzer, Amber, Robbie, Cali and Erica Van Pay (Kyle); his grandchildren, Orion, Aiden, Dean, Elizabeth Konitzer (Rick Batey), Olivia, Emerson and Sara Drewek; his sons, Ben and Will; his siblings, Chester Konitzer (Barbara), Fred Konitzer (Janice), Georgia Grenke (Jim Wojkiewicz), Gary Konitzer (Cookie), Norene Vorpahl (Gary), Blaine Konitzer (Debbie), Phillip Konitzer (Cheryl), Sam Konitzer (Cindy) and Chris Williquette; and his sisters-in-law, Carol "Cookie" Konitzer, Rosie "Tootie" Konitzer, Sherri Konitzer and Julie Konitzer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
