She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Jahnke and Harriet Jahnke (Schmidt); her husband Norbert Valentine; her siblings, Myron and Ethyl Vannes; her son-in-law Jeff LeGare; and her great grandchild Katlyne LeGare.
She is survived by: her children, David Valentine (Darla), Cheryl Nichols (Thomas) and Jill LeGare; her grandchildren, Shawn LeGare (Sharon), Jennifer Anschutz (Jason), David Valentine (Allie), Jody Nelson (Brian) and Danielle Lorrigan (Shawn); her great grandchildren, Katie, Nathan, Zachary, Aubrey, Heather and Tasha; and her friend Sally Wright. She is also survived by 5 great-great grandchildren.
