He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Beckum and Felicia Van Beckum (Kwaterski); and his parents-in-law, Donald and Rosalyn Millhiser. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Millhiser of Parkinson's Disease; his children, Jonathan Van Beckum (Janean) and Stephanie; his grandchildren, Liam, Jack McCullagh and Cassidy Van Beckum; his siblings, Jim (Carol), Don (Faye) and Mary Kempen (Tom); and his brother-in-law Bruce Millhiser (Linda). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund will be established.
