He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Shipley and Nathalie Shipley (Nelson); his wife Marilyn Wegner; his children, Jeffrey (Jennifer), Mark and Janette (Jolene); his grandchildren, Jackson and Jilian; his siblings, Jim Shipley, Dianne Berendsen, Karen Gutzman (Gary), Kay Spejcher (Chap), Jean Halvorsen (John), Laurie Shipley-Calewarts, Tim Shipley (RuthAnn), Kerry Shipley (Dolores) and Lisa Babiash (Mike); his sister-in-law Marleen Rodaer; his close friend Jan Dill; and his brother-in-law Richard Rodaer. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and his close-nit camping friends.
