He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Hermes and Lucille Hermes (Georgia); his brother Thomas Hermes; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Jolliffe and Charles "Chuck" Haering.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Trepanier; his children, Lorie Sausen (Thomas), Thomas Hermes (Jessie), William Hermes and Patrick Hermes; his grandchildren, Maria Hinnendael (Jeff), Eric Hermes, Ethan Hermes, Logan Hermes (Allie), Nathan Hermes and James Hermes; and his sisters, Gerry Jolliffe and Mary Lou Haering. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (2597 Glendale Ave, Howard, WI 54313). A Mass will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
