She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Cayer and Esther Cayer (Niemi); her husband Ralph Bender; her brother Melvin Cayer; and her stepsons, Wayne Bender and Craig Bender.
She is survived by: her sons, Patrick Bender (Judy), Michael Bender (Sharon) and Ronald Bender (Candy); and her stepsons, Carey Bender and Melvin Bender. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren.
