Christman of Sturtevant, Wisconsin, born in Racine, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberic Goossens and Martha Goossens; her husband Alvin A. Christman; and her siblings, Mary Christman and Victor Goossens.

She is survived by: her children, Sherry Ystenes (David), Ken Christman (Jan), Mike Christman (Cathy), Donna Foster and Keith Christman (Cathy); her grandchildren, Jodi Emmons (Paul), Jason Ystenes (Barb), Carla Steimle (Jeremy), Katie Reichel (Steve), Craig Christman, Anna Born (Adam), Brittany Christman, Melissa McNeese (DJ), Matt Foster (Amy), Peter Vleiger, Jessica Vleiger, Ryan Christman (Brittany) and Adam Christman; her great grandchildren, Brooke, Ben, Brynn Emmons, Blaine, Lexi Ystenes, Gavin, Callie Steimle, Allyson, Dane Reichel, Lyla, Chloe, Morgan Born, Madison, Brady Foster, Graysen Christman and Max McNeese; and her friends, Irma Sturicz, Veronica Tryba, Ed Chapin and Cathie Geyer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, private services for Irene will be held at a later date.
