She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Podella and Phyllis Podella (Neumiller). She is survived by: her husband Joseph Tunks; her children, Diane Richmond (Jermaine), Joseph Tunks Jr. and Phyllis Tunks; her grandchildren, Deon, Christina, Kiannah, Tiara, Julianna, Je T'aime and Alexander; and her sisters, Sandy Fischer (David), Barb Slagle (Orville) and Susan Weaver (Phillip). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
