He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schoendorf and Katherine Schoendorf (Patterson); his wife Lois Mary Bolz; his brothers, Tom and Joe III (Schoendorf); and his grandson Alexander Shelly.
He is survived by: his children, Claudia Thedens (Earl) of Superior, WI, Beth Shelly of Dallas, TX and Chris Schoendorf of Sturgeon Bay; his grandson Matthew; his friend Margaret Johanson of Sturgeon Bay; his sister Mary Koehler of Mequon; and his sister-in-law Sally Schoendorf of Milwaukee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
