He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Melvin "Mel" and Virginia Samonds (Holland); his sister Carolyn; his close friend James McQueen; and his pets, Sparky, Tootsie, Snuffles, Schmedley and Hannah.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Wierer (Brian) of Green Bay, Dr. Jason Samonds (Sara) of Austin, TX, Terry Samonds, Jr. of Sturgeon Bay and Melanie Samonds of Green Bay; his grandchildren, Kyra Delchambre (Alec Craig), Kahner "Bob" Delchambre, Veronica Wierer and Allison Wierer (Journey Gage Sikorsky); and his brother-in-law Richard Frandsen (Judy) of Aurora, IL. He is also survived by other relatives; and friends.
