It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Schmelzer (Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 11, 2018, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Anthony; and also Butch. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Recupero Schmelzer; his children, Josiah, Noah, Luke (Lucy Hatfield) and Linnea; his siblings, Ann Buchberger, Christine Reid (Robert Siigers), Margaret Furdek (Mark) and Tom Schmelzer (Barb); and his sister-in-law Ruth Schmelzer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends.
