She was predeceased by: her parents, William Frank Meyer and Johanna "Hannah" Marie Meyer (Christianson); her siblings, Albert Meyer (Bianca), Alvina Polster, Frank Meyer (Helen), Herman Meyer (Bernice), Elsie Garlie (Edward), Emily Lee, Florence Garlie (Edward), Gladys Anderson (Ned), Infant and Henry Meyer; and her siblings-in-law, Antonia Tomjanovich (John), Danica Moeller (Earla) and Antone "Tony" Penovich.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Penovich (Mary) of Sturgeon Bay, Carol Klaubauf (John) of Sturgeon Bay and Peter Penovich (Jane); her grandchildren, Scott Penovich (Carrie), Daniel Penovich (Tracey), Timothy Klaubauf (Laura), Jermey Klaubauf (Claudia), Carrie Romsos (Eric), Hilary Bunker (John) and Andy Penovich; her great grandchildren, Tyler and Lexi Penovich; her grandchildren, Cody, Paige Penovich, Nathan, Kalei Klaubauf, Jack, Will, Sam, Max Romsos, Mason and Liam Bunker; her sister-in-law Irene Meyer; and her husband John. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:40 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (110 N 5th Ave, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
