He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Krofta and Mary Krofta (Kraus); and his siblings, Sylvester Krofta (Joan), Norbert Krofta, Mary Ellen Schultz (Clarence), Leona Buresh (Frank), Joan Krofta, Ann Frechette, James Krofta and Rudolph "Rudy" Krofta (Florence).
He is survived by: his wife Janet Alice Stoltenberg; his children, Kathryn Berg (Ronald) of Eden Prairie, MN and Mark Krofta of St. Louis Park, MN; the mother of his children Janet Krofta of St. Louis Park, MN; his granddaughters, Jennifer Berg (Nicholas May) and Jolie Berg (Matthew Condakes); and his siblings, Joyce Bavry of Manitowoc, WI, Audrey Harvey (Roy) of Ogdensburg, WI, Arlene Muehlenberg of Green Lake, WI and David Krofta of Mishicot, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
Memorials may be given in his name for any local Habitat for Humanity.
