Mildred Monfils Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Monfils of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 17, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis LaViolette and Artyice LaViolette (Starr); her former husband Donald Viste; her husband Lawrence Monfils; her daughter-in-law Joy Viste; her siblings, Phyllis Nelson (Phillip), Vivian Johnson (Wayne), Shirley Tagel, Virginia Meunier (Charlie), Keith LaViolette and Kenneth LaViolette (Jane); and her brothers-in-law, Tom Nicholson and Daryl Wolske.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Rankin (Larry), Donald Viste (Cindy), Darrell Viste and Dennis Viste (Linda); her grandchildren, Brenda Rankin Sweet, Nicole Komers, Natasha Baker, Robert Viste, Jessica Withers, Stephanie Rowley and Lori Powalisz; her siblings, Donna Nicholson, Doris Wolske, Fay Kolstad (Willie), Roy LaViolette and Louie LaViolette (Susie); and her parents-in-law, Sophie LaViolette and Jack Tagel. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid 19 Virus, private family services will be conducted at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Kolberg.
