Michael Dale Herbst Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2023, at the age of 62, Michael Dale Herbst of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Otto Herbst and JoAnne Rose Herbst (Bruckner); his sister-in-law Noreen "Nora" Herbst; and his father-in-law Alvin Zahorik. He is survived by: his wife Penny; his daughters, Haley Lemke (Alex) of Green Bay and Hope Herbst (Eric Ott) of Sturgeon Bay; his pets, Sadie, Kimber and Hank; his siblings, Sheldon Herbst (Julie) of Sturgeon Bay, Gail Haen (Gordy) of Carlsville, Becky Knapp (Jerry) of Brussels and Pam Kramer (Steve) of Sturgeon Bay; his mother-in-law Jean Zahorik of Two Rivers; his siblings-in-law, Phil Zahorik (Jennifer) of Fall Creek, Paul Zahorik (Ellen) of Wrangell, AK and Peggy Sadowski (Mike) of Tisch Mills; and his aunts, Sharon Kessen of Sturgeon Bay and Gloria Bruckner of Sturgeon Bay. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews; 19 great-nieces and great-nephews.
