He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Doucette and Mae Doucette (Now); his spouse Shirley Silinsky; his siblings, Gerald, Merle, Loren, Patrick Doucette, Marlene Shebuski, Beverly Edgerton and Vergil Gerlach; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Doucette, Joan McKelvey, Barbara Baylor, Donald Fleischman, Jim Edgerton, Jerry Hoerman, William Shebuski, Howard Baylor and Peter Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Beierlein (Edward), Lynn Doucette, Green Bay, Cheryl Brass (Steve) of Farmington, MN, Andrew Doucette (Julie) and Sandra Edinger (Paul Laubenstein); his grandchildren, Kristin, Alex Beierlein (Rachel), Paul Krueger, Tim Krueger (Jessica), Karen Loritz (Jason), Cameron Brass, Abby, Joseph Doucette, Dail Edinger (Troy Spiering), Angie Edinger (Sean Tauscher) and Tony Edinger (Kristen Butcher); his siblings, Judy Warren (Robert), Faye Fleischman, Jane Hoerman, Dale Doucette (Shelly) and Douglas Doucette (Carolyn) of Antigo; and his siblings-in-law, Kassie Anderson, Judith DeMartini (John), Michael Silinsky and William McKelvey. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forbes Funeral Home (319 W Spruce St, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
