We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2022, at the age of 86, Marlean J. Bretl of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schneider and Mary Schneider (Hickey); her husband Vernon M. Bretl; and her half-siblings, Russell Kalms, Edwin Schneider and Edna Schneider.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Carmody (Richard) of Sturgeon Bay, WI, Linda Engman (Peter) of Turtle Lake, WI and Paula McIlraith (Thomas) of Davis, CA; and her grandchildren, Kyle, Meredith Engman, Skye and Connor McIlraith.
