He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Hicks and Shirley Hicks (Dobberke); his significant other Nancy; his daughters, Megan Hicks (Dean Watkins) of Sturgeon Bay, Molly Swattler (Steve) of Menasha and Katie Starr (Mike) of Sturgeon Bay; his grandchildren, Madison, Claire and Owen; his stepgrandson Jack; his siblings, Rob (Laurie) of Sturgeon Bay, Cindy Upchurch of Rockford, IL, Tina Korn (Joe) of Baileys Harbor and Troy (Joanne) of Sturgeon Bay; his brothers-in-law, Thomas Anderson (Ginnie) of Omro, Robert "Andy" Anderson (Beth) of St. Augustine, FL and Scott Anderson (DeAnne) of Appleton; his stepfather Merle Marsh; his parents-in-law, Leon and Martha Anderson (Michaels); and his brother-in-law Al Upchurch. He was also cherished by other relatives; and friends.
To honor Mark and in lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Salvation Army or DOOR CANcer, Inc. Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Unity Hospice for their care given to Mark these past few months.
