He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hyland (Sala); his children, Timothy Hyland (Natalie), Christine Wert (Greg), Appleton Pretasky, Susan Pretasky (Robert) and La Crosse; and his grandchildren, John Phillip Hyland of Austin, TX, Amanda McConnell (Bryan), Brooke Wert, Eric Wert and Andrew Pretasky.
