She was predeceased by: her husband William Draeb; her parents, Otis Aamodt and Clara Aamodt; her daughter Karen Hays; and her sisters, Agnes Aamodt and Karen Aamodt.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Marie, Elizabeth Lydia, George William, Betsy Kelly (Mike) of Plainwell, MI and George Draeb (Joan) of Sturgeon Bay; her grandchildren, Kathryn Stafford (Terrance), Elizabeth Albrecht (Jeremy), John Kelly (Kelly M.), Erik Hays, Cheryl Ehlers (David), Brian Kelly (Samantha) and Bill Draeb (Rose Teskie); and her sister Virginia Hecht of Denver. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Joan's name to Bay View Lutheran Church or the Peninsula Symphonic Band.
