It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Johnson of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Forest Johnson and Mildred Mary Slack (Belongia); his wife Janice; his siblings, Arthur C. Slack, Wilbur "Woody" Slack, Elsie Bergman (Peter) and Mary Ann Walkowski; his brother-in-law Jerry Rocen; and his friends, David Flanum, Harold Baker and Robin Laak.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lloyd Slack (Sarah) of Woodstock, IL, Barbara Drury (Dave) of Woodstock, IL and Patricia "Patsy" Nellesen (Mark) of Rosholt, WI; his sister-in-law Jung-Sook Slack of Woodstock, IL; his nieces and nephews, Christopher Slack (Karen), Jerry Slack, Edward Slack (Valerie) and Elaine Eckert (Thomas); his wife's sons, Allen Fortemps (Salena) of Kewaunee, WI and Clint Fortemps of Kaukauna, WI; his friends, Gary Gauthier, James Abrahamson, Tom Delchambre, George Poh and Julie Sarter; and also, Emily, Sydney Fortemps and Scarlette.
