He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Ash and Vera Ash; his sister-in-law Rochelle Gilson; his nephew Michael Ash; and also, Henry Gilson and Elva Gilson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Thad Ash (Cathy), Tim Ash (Marie), Thea Schmidt (Joe) of Campbellsport and Tom Ash (Amy); his grandchildren, Ashley Cordier (Erik), Aaron Ash (Ashlianne), Adam Ash, Laura Blahnik (Phil), Franklin, Libby and Jon Ash; his stepgrandchildren, Justin Schmidt (Colleen), Brittany Krebs (John) and Chelsea Schmidt; his great grandchildren, Madelyn Blahnik, Ellie Ash and Henry Cordier; his brother Rodney Ash (Doris); and his siblings-in-law, Janet Gilson and Henry Gilson (Deb).
