She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Kaczmarek and Clara Kaczmarek (LaPlant); her husband Arthur Albert Peterson; her brothers, Stanley and Joseph Kaczmarek; and her son-in-law James Schaefer.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Peterson (Vicki) of Egg Harbor, Gerald Peterson (Elizabeth) of Fish Creek, Donald Peterson (Angela) of Sevastopol, Shirley Gronseth (Eric) of De Pere and Mary Schaefer of Sturgeon Bay. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
