It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Marik of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 11, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Marik to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leonard Marik and Helena Wilhelmina Marik (Ullsperger); her sisters, Margaret Wood (Elmer), Dolores O'Hern (Daniel Jr.) and Betty Hagen; her niece Mary Lou Dickie; her nephew William Wood; her nephew-in-law William Hemenway; her great-niece Tiffany O'Hern; her great-nephew William Lindal; and also Joseph Lampereur, Jr..
She is survived by: her friend Dorothy McDougall; her nieces and nephews, Sally Corff of St. Joseph, MI, Peggy Jersey (Rick) of Petosky, MI, Suzy Hemenway of Waukesha, WI, Colleen Lampereur (Mike) of Brussels, WI, Anita Merkle (Allen) of Baileys Harbor, WI, Daniel O'Hern III (Ann) of Sturgeon Bay, Mark O'Hern (Peggy) of Sturgeon Bay, Mary O'Hern of Brussels, WI, Jeff Hagen (Pat) of Gainesville, FL, Pamella Hagen (Neal McKenzie) of Clio, MI and Sirri Neuman (Ted) of Temperance, MI; and her nephew-in-law Jon Dickie of Ypsilanti, MI. She is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and other relatives.
Those in attendance are to wear face masks and maintain social distancing.
Memorials may be given in Helen's name for the Alzheimer's Association-Greater Wisconsin Chapter or the Wisconsin Humane Society-Door County Campus.
