He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Frykman and Margaret Frykman; and his sister Phyllis Frykman Dixon of Tennessee. He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Frykman of Door County, Faith Frykman of Door County, Dianne Frykman Capps of Door County and David Frykman of Door County. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, as well as fourteen great nieces and nephews.
