She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Irene Funk and Thomas Franklin Ramsey, Jr.; and her sister Shirley Anne Ramsey Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Elwood "Boots" V. Crofoot, Jr.; and her children, David (Suzanne), Lynn and Michael (Karen).

The family cordially invites donations to be made in Carol's name to the Wisconsin Humane Society – Door County Campus.
