He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Geisel and Grace Geisel (Viste); his sisters, Gertrude Abrahamson (Wallace), Vione Beno (Ronald) and Laura Fieweger (Robert); his sister-in-law Linda Geisel; and his parents-in-law, Herbert and Harriet Laher.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Jodie Schartner (Jesse), Riley, Emilie, Jamie Henschel (Michael) and Mark; his grandchildren, Brian, Kevin, Heidi Geisel, Wade Geisel, Tara LeClair (Aaron), Alaina and Reid; his brother Roy Geisel; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Holmes (Gary), Wayne Laher (Kathy) and Jim Laher (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
