He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Tanck and Viola Marshall; his brother Elmer Tanck; his parents-in-law, Louis and Laura Schartner; and his in-laws, Doris Schartner, Louis Schartner (Ruth), Leonard Schartner (Joan), Donald Schartner (Shirley), William Schartner, Carol Grandbouche (John), Robert Schartner (Diane), Mary Junion, Roger Henschel, Kenneth Schartner and Evelyn Schartner.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Schartner; his children, Brenda Tebon (Carl) of Dubuque, Andy Tanck (Brooke) of Sturgeon Bay and Ryan Tanck (Laura) of Sturgeon Bay; his grandchildren, Erica (Craig), Elly, Rachel Tebon, Drew, Bo, Lauren and Violet Tanck; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Tanck, Helen Henschel, Arnie Schartner and Bill Junion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
