David Maug Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate David Maug of Strum, Wisconsin, whose life came to an end on October 10, 2024 at the age of 74, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Maug and Avis Maug (Anderson) of Strum; his wife Carol Jean Christianson; his sister Carolyn Enger; his brother-in-law Ken; his parents-in-law, Morten and Leona Christianson; and his siblings-in-law, Muriel Cox, Frank Cox and Gerald Christianson.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael, Matthew (Jackie Coburn) and Cory of Strum; his grandsons, Ethan (Noah) and Caden Rosman; his siblings, Patricia Dekan (Jim Germann) of Brackett, Joanne Herbenson (Steve) of Eau Claire and Wayne Maug (Susan) of Eleva; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Christianson of Eleva. He is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (109 Elm St, Strum, WI 54770). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
