He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Franson and Mae Franson (Anderson); his in-laws, John and Pearl Holstad; and his siblings-in-law, Jarvis Holstad, Pat Holstad and Pam Holstad.
He is survived by: his wife Linda of Strum; his children, Jodi Patterson (Steve) of Virginia and Jason Franson (Laurie) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Ian Patterson, Hunter Patterson (Kellee), Andrew Franson (Shannon), Nicholas Franson and Jayna Franson; his great grandchildren, Maxton and McCoy Patterson; his brother Eric Franson (Karen) of Strum; and his sister-in-law Roxie Holstad (late Jarvis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
