In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Peggy had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Peggy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her father David Bergman; her stepfather Robert "Buck" Schultze; and her mother Dorothy Schultze. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Makovec; her children, David Stahnke (Lisa), Jason Stahnke (Candace), Amanda Makovec (David Mirko) and Dana Makovec (Robert Rudebush); her siblings, Connie Bergman (David "Beaner" Lemke) and Dan Schultze (Tracy); and her stepsiblings, Darrell Schultze, Hilda and Roberta. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cleveland Town Hall (214261 County Hwy M, Stratford, WI 54484).
