She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer VanderKooi and Lorna VanderKooi (Steinmeyer); her husband Arlyn H. Bastman; her brothers, Bill, Charles and Dennis Vander Kooi; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Vander Kooi and Kalene Thevenot.
She is survived by: her children, Jody Held (Joey Pitts), Sherri Kaiser (Craig) and Todd Bastman of Stratford; her grandchildren, Vicky Bastman, Samantha Bauer (Cody), Bridget Bastman, Tyler Bastman, Kyle Kaiser, Emalie Myszka (Dylan) and Mitchell Kaiser; her great grandchildren, Adeline Harrison, Wyatt, Nora, Aiden Bauer and Ellsie Myszka; her siblings, Janet Chapman, Loren Vander Kooi (Sharon), Karen Lowery (Bob), Larry Vander Kooi (Jeanie), Terry Vander Kooi (Sara), Pamela Green, David Vander Kooi, Doris Vander Kooi and Betsy Foley (Darrel); and her sisters-in-law, Jeri Brandl (Ron) and Rhonda Graff (Eric).
